Popups was a test, but removed it. We dont need annoying ass popups here.

Only banner ads currently. So it should be enough.
Supporting the community by clicking daily on banners is enough to finance the servers here.
How do you feel about removing the redirect when you first load the site?

It's better to make payment for registration. @admin .

If someone wishes to join this community, they need to pay $1 or $2 to become a member.

Therefore, you don't need to display banner ads as well.

Pros:
  • The community is becoming higher quality.
  • It prevents individuals from creating multiple accounts.
Cons:
  • The community's growth may be slower

Due to a lack of income from our community, we unfortunately have no choice but to place advertisements in our forum. We thank you for your understanding.

We have gotten by without ads for almost 3 years, unfortunately we can no longer do without them.

I recommend that most people use adblockers or upgrade their account. By upgrading, no more ads will appear on the website.

If you have other suggestions, please let us know. Free to open discuss here.

obviously they'll take all your billing information and cross reference it

this way if anyone on here is illegally selling stolen media the moderation team can hand all the information over to proper authorities 👍

Ever since this implementation, I cannot access the site from my desktop anymore via MAC.

I would reevaluate this new feature.

selectioncarnivalrigs dot com virus alert ringing like there's no tomorrow.
wtf is that?

it used to be super fast, i've never ever had a problem with the site before (and i'm here from the leakth.is times), thank god at least it's not blacklisted anymore (even though on some pcs the page won't even fully load, always because of the banner thing of course)
is it truly impossible to add banners without turning this place into a spammy virus alert infested nightmare or crashing the whole thing down?
i'm genuinely asking, cause there are millions of sites who just has banners and antiviruses don't detect them as the ultimate pc threat...
I'm sorry, don't wanna sound too brutal, but it's weird, it feels like the chap in charge of the banner thing isn't doing the right thing.
