The VIP role as seen on the late leakth.is will finally be implemented here on leaked.cx. For those of you unfamiliar with the role, VIP on leakth.is was a designation given to the most respected members of the community. The VIP private section is also open to upgraded users starting at MVP. Users will be chosen for the role through a voting process, where they must be nominated by someone already possessing VIP status, and the nomination must reach 5 postive reactions (clown/reallysad reactions count as -1, MVP reactions do not count). If you are inactive on the forum or the voting thread for extended periods of time, you may lose the role, depending on your situation. The changes from the last site - notably the lowering of the reaction threshold from 10 to 5 as well as the inactivity clause- are meant to promote engagement with the section so that it doesn't stagnate.
VIP users may nominate someone for the role once every two weeks if they so choose. The starting user group is tagged below:
