who the fuck cares? this is hip hop, kendrick didn't have to call new york rappers before control dropped to say "hey I'm gonna say I'm the king of new york but it's all love and also I'm gonna say I'm better than you but I got respect for you", he just said it. kanye gave taylor far more courtesy than he had to, I'm sure he didn't call ray j to make sure his lines on highlights were okay with him. kanye pretty much bit the entirety of jumpman while dissing nike on it but I don't think he made sure drake was cool with it beforehand
